As a charity, the Walmer Bridge Village Hall Association is lucky enough to be supported by the generous benevolence of many individuals and businesses in the local area. We are always grateful for assistance - from the smallest raffle prizes to kind donations towards our annual firework display - and would like to use this page to showcase the generosity of those that support us, in the hope that you will support them as they have us!
Friends of Walmer Bridge
The Village Hall has recently received an amazingly generous donation from Tanya and Darren WIlcock, on behalf of the former community group Friends of Walmer Bridge, to put towards improvements to our village hall. Unfortunately, our antiquated heating system decided to give up the ghost at around the same time, and we have since used this money to go towards a state of the art infra-red heating system which should hopefully not only benefit our regular hirers and guests alike, but also decrease our energy consumption - better for the bills and better for the environment! We cannot express our thanks thoroughly enough as this kind donation covered approximately 50% of what would have otherwise been very difficult for the hall to finance.

We would like to express our gratitude to Lawrence Hunt and his team in the Spar at Walmer Bridge who are a massive support to the Village Hall.

Greenlight Heating & Plumbing
Greenlight Heating and Plumbing have kindly helped to support the Walmer Bridge Village Hall after the installation of our brand new heating system! We managed to get ourselves into some hot water (or the opposite as the case may be) until these everyday heroes stepped in to fix up our water heaters!
